Hi! I’m Matej, a PADI scuba diving instructor. I guide people underwater - from a first try dive to full certification and programs for young divers. All courses are available in Slovak or English.

After a briefing on equipment and safety, you enter shallow water with your instructor right beside you. You practice a few basic skills, then enjoy a relaxed dive to experience the underwater world firsthand.

Children complete a series of AquaMissions in the pool - each with a theme such as creature identification, search and recovery, or environmental awareness. Sessions are fun, structured, and led by a PADI professional in shallow water.

Prerequisites

Training combines self-study or classroom sessions, confined water practice in a pool, and open water dives at a real dive site. You progress step by step at a comfortable pace with personal guidance throughout.
What you'll learn
- Dive theory: pressure, buoyancy, planning, and safe diving practices
- Essential skills in the pool - regulator recovery, mask clearing, buoyancy control
- Four open water dives to apply skills and explore underwater environments
- How to plan dives, use a dive computer, and dive independently with a buddy
Prerequisites
- No prior certification required (Discover Scuba Diving is helpful but not mandatory)
- Minimum age 10 years for Junior Open Water. 15 years for full certification

Each dive focuses on a different specialty area - such as deeper diving, navigation, or peak performance buoyancy. There is no heavy classroom load; most of the course happens in the water.
What you'll learn
- Deeper diving techniques and managing depth to 30 metres
- Underwater navigation using compass and natural references
- Improved buoyancy, trim, and finning for more efficient diving
- Introduction to specialty skills chosen from options like night, dsmb, or peak performance buoyancy
Prerequisites
- PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent from another training agency)
- Minimum age 12 years for Junior Advanced. 15 years recommended
- Reasonable fitness and comfort in open water

Through knowledge development and realistic in-water scenarios, you practice responding to problems ranging from a tired diver to more serious emergencies. The focus is on prevention, recognition, and calm, effective action.
What you'll learn
- How to prevent accidents and spot stress in yourself and other divers
- Search patterns and techniques for locating a missing diver
- Rescue approaches, towing, and assisting unresponsive divers at the surface and underwater
- Emergency management, oxygen use, and working as part of a rescue team
Prerequisites
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification)
- PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care completed within 24 months
- Minimum age 12 years (with appropriate depth limits for juniors)
- Strong swimming ability and solid buoyancy control

We review your current knowledge, identify any gaps, and tailor confined and open water sessions to what you need. You work one-on-one with an instructor until you feel ready to dive with confidence.

- Updated certification recognition through PADI when the full program is completed

Prerequisites
- Proof of previous scuba certification (any level) or referral from a dive centre
- Recommended if you have not dived for 6 months or longer, or feel rusty

The course combines knowledge development with hands-on practice using manikins and training scenarios. You build confidence responding to medical emergencies at home, work, or in daily life — not in the water.
What you'll learn
- Primary care (CPR) for adults, children, and infants
- Secondary care (first aid) for injuries and illnesses
- How to assess emergencies, reduce risks, and assist until professional help arrives
Prerequisites
- No diving certification required
- Suitable for divers and non-divers alike
- Willingness to practise CPR and first aid skills on the floor
- Minimum age 12 years (with appropriate supervision for younger participants where applicable)
